Google has quietly solved one of EV ownership’s most persistent annoyances, fragmented trip planning across your phone and dashboard, by bringing smart, AI-driven charging route recommendations directly into Android Auto.
Android Auto connection issues are hitting Pixel and Samsung users, with widespread reports of failed or unstable connections. A recent update or Android 16 feature may be involved, but no fix is available yet.
The update comes after a rocky first few months of software problems on the electric SUV.
