Uber Eats launched a new AI feature, “Cart Assistant,” that can automatically add items to your cart based on text or image prompts.
The deal will see Uber paying $335 million at the outset to purchase Getir’s food delivery business. Uber will also pay $100 million for a 15% stake in Getir’s grocery, retail and water delivery business.
In a bold move to close the gap with rivals, Grubhub is waiving delivery and service fees on restaurant orders over $50.
